Today, we want to honor the incredible strength, determination, and hard work of two exceptional women at Nyassa: Kanchan Bane and Deepali Doifode. Their stories are not just inspiring; they're a live example of the resilience of the human spirit.
Kanchan, we lovingly call her Kanchan Mausi. Since 2008, she has been the heart of our soap-cutting work, every day she traveled 2 hours to work, solely for her children’s future. Life threw her into a tough situation, when her husband passed away, leaving her with two young kids, she was all alone with her children who were below 10. But Kanchan didn’t give up. she knew her kids needed her; she started her life with a new phase with the sole purpose of giving them a good life and making them reach in a good position so they would become Independent and can deal with every situation in the future.
And at this inspiring journey, Nyassa stepped in to provide a helping hand. From financial assistance to educational opportunities for her children, we stood by Kanchan through thick and thin. Today, she's not just an employee; she's the soul of Nyassa, inspiring us all with her dedication and strength.
And here's the best part – her hard work paid off. Her children are doing well now, working in good places. Kanchan made sure they didn't face the struggles she did.

Deepali, our factory's head, has been working with Nyassa for the past seventeen years. She faced tough times when her daughter was little. She didn't know much about traveling back then. She shared in her interview how she traveled from Kalyan to Santacruz, a journey of one and a half hours, she didn't shy away from seeking directions from strangers, showcasing the determination that has defined her journey. Traveling, especially on the busy Mumbai local trains. But she didn't let her fears stop her. What makes Deepali's story truly inspiring is not just her ability to conquer fears but her unwavering commitment to balancing her professional and family responsibilities. In the face of adversity, she embraced the challenge head-on, demonstrating a remarkable work ethic that has become synonymous with her name.
